Description: The main objective of this project was to estimate, as part of a multinational effort (US-Greece-France), the high-frequency attenuation of ground motion (a.k.a. kappa) at selected hard-rock sites in Canada and France, after performing site-specific characterisation.

Description: The project investigated the geometry and kinematics of (seismic) active fault zones / fault systems near the Katakolo region of western Greece. It involved seismo–tectonic analysis based on seismological and geodetic data and provided the input dataset for a Deterministic Seismic Hazard Assessment for the Katakolo facilities’ potential earthquake response.
