Authors may submit their papers either as a full-length text or as one-page abstract. A special printed Symposium Volume, containing full-length papers and abstracts submitted for oral or poster presentation, is scheduled to be produced and distributed to the registered Symposium participants at the first day of the meeting. The deadline for paper and abstract submission is the 10th May 2005. Full-length papers and abstracts should be prepared by following strictly the format of the journal Natural Hazards which can be located at the next link

Full-length papers could be up to eight pages prepared according to the above format. Abstract's length could be up to one page of the same format.
Full-length papers will be accepted for publication provided that at least one of the co-authors is a registered Symposium participant. Only one full-length paper per registered participant will be accepted for publication. For inclusion in the Proceedings Volume of more than one full-length papers submitted by the same registered participant a fee of 20 Euros will be charged for each additional full-length paper. The submission of Abstracts is not subjected to the above restrictions.
