The installation of additional stations helps identify a larger number of small events with greater accuracy, and in doing so helps improve seismic hazard and risk assessment. A complete station consists of a seismometer, a digitizer, a router, a modem with sim card, a GPS antenna, a battery, a charger, a safety socket and of all necessary cables.
