The International Workshop on Mega Earthquakes and Tsunamis in Subduction Zones: Forecasting Approaches and Implications for Hazard Assessment will be held from
6th to 8th October, 2014, in Rhodes island, Greece, with the participation of experts, young scientists and representatives of international organizations from around the globe.
The programme includes oral and poster presentations, discussions and social events.
A Special Session on "Pre- and Post-disaster resilience and risk mitigation actions"
as well as a 1-day field trip will be included in the programme. |
