Introduction
The 22nd International Tsunami Symposium 2005 is organized in the framework of the Tsunami Commission of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG). One of the main activities of the IUGG Tsunami Commission is the organization of the series "International Tsunami Symposia" which are held every two years during the IUGG General Assemblies and independently in an alternate order.

Time
The 22nd International Tsunami Symposium, 2005 will be held from 27 to 29 June, 2005. Pre- and Post-Symposium optional tours are also scheduled.
